    Hot Take: Not feeling hungry in the morning can be Hot Take: Not feeling hungry in the morning can be a sign of a stressed metabolism⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣And here's two common culprits I see working with clients ⤵️⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣✨But first, make sure to follow me at Autumn.enloe.nutrition for more ways to support optimal metabolism and hormone health! ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣So number 1 reason why you don't feel hungry in the morning: ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣➡️Your body is stuck in survival mode. This means your body wants to conserve the energy it has and will make you feel less hungry. It could also be related to elevated cortisol levels in the morning. I often see this in clients who have spent years dieting, are under-eating, or have trouble with low blood sugar levels ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣Number 1 reason why you don't feel hungry in the morning: ⁣ ⁣➡️You're over-eating or snacking a lot at night. This can also be tied to reason #1, but if you're consuming a large amount of calories in the evening (like dinner is your biggest meal for example), that can impact your hunger in the morning ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣So, what to do about it?⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣While I'm all about listening to your body cues, morning time is the time I do recommend eating a small snack even if you don't feel hungry⁣⁣ (like a hard boiled egg with some berries for example)⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣That's because the morning sets the foundation for the rest of the day, and eating a little something can help REV up your metabolism and turn that power switch on - helping you to feel hungry in the morning (which is a GOOD thing!) ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣In working with clients for 10+ years, I've seen the power of what eating a balanced breakfast can do when it comes to weight loss, energy levels, reducing sugar cravings, improving periods and more⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣So FUEL your metabolism from the very beginning of your day, my friend!⁣⁣⁣ 🙌 ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣Question - are you hungry in the morning? yay or nay?⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣#metabolismboost #morningroutine #ilovebreakfast #highproteinbreakfast #easybreakfast #healthyweightloss #happyhormones #theeverymom ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣
