¾ cup roasted nuts (I used pecans, slivered almonds, walnuts, and pepitas)*
½ tsp. flaky sea salt
Instructions
Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe container. Melt by heating up the chocolate chips in 30 second increments. Stir with a spatula after each increment and continue until all the chocolate chips are melted.
Once chocolate chips are all melted, add in the vanilla extract.
Pour melted chocolate onto a baking pan covered in parchment paper.
Smooth the chocolate out until it’s about ¼ inch thick.
Sprinkle nuts over the chocolate until all parts are covered. Then sprinkle the sea salt on top.
Place in the freezer for 30 minutes; or until chocolate has hardened.
Remove from freezer and break into small pieces.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Notes
*To roast the nuts: Place in a small baking dish in a 350 degree F. oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until they start to brown.
