1/8 tsp.black pepper (helps to enhance absorption of turmeric)
Instructions
Add the orange juice to a medium-sized saucepan without the heat on.
Sprinkle gelatin into the orange juice and evenly distribute a layer on top. Let the gelatin sit and bloom.
Turn stove on medium heat and slowly stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
Turn off the heat and stir in spices.
Pour mixture into candy molds or a parchment paper-lined baking dish (I used a 9x5 loaf pan).
Allow to set in the fridge for about 2 hours.
Cut into individual squares (I cut mine to be about 1 inch by 1/2 inch in size) and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
Note: If you want to make these gummies even more “gummy-like” you can reduce the amount of gelatin to 4 Tbsp.This recipe makes about 18-24 gummies if you use a 9x5 baking pan and cut them to be about 1 inch by 1/2 inch in size.
