Functional Testing

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis Test

A Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a non-invasive lab test that looks at the minerals and certain heavy metals stored in your hair. Since hair reflects mineral patterns over time, this test gives us a longer-term picture of what’s happening inside your body — not just a snapshot from one day.

An HTMA can provide insight into:

  • Key mineral levels like magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium, zinc, and iron

  • Mineral ratios that influence adrenal function, thyroid health, and metabolism

  • Stress patterns and how your body responds to chronic stress

  • Potential mineral deficiencies or excesses

  • Possible heavy metal exposure (such as mercury or aluminum)

*Investment includes test + review and video summary from dietitian

Food Sensitivity Testing (MRT)

The Mediator Release Test (MRT) is a specialized blood test used to identify food sensitivities that may be contributing to chronic inflammation in the body.

Unlike food allergies, which cause immediate reactions, food sensitivities can trigger delayed symptoms — sometimes hours or even days later — making them difficult to identify on your own.

MRT measures how your immune cells respond to specific foods and chemicals by looking at the release of inflammatory mediators. These mediators can affect many systems in the body, not just digestion

The MRT can provide insight into:

  • Bloating, gas, or digestive discomfort

  • Fatigue or brain fog

  • Headaches or migraines

  • Joint pain, inflammation or body aches

  • Skin issues

  • Hormonal imbalances or inflammation

  • Trouble losing weight despite

*Investment includes MRT test (176 food and food chemicals) + symptom overview + recorded video test review and summary from dietitian + supplement recommendations (as needed).
